The Path

The Path

In this painting, I use the symbol of a path to represent choices or decisions that we are faced with in life. Sometimes we confront a task or challenge that is frightening or difficult, but if we choose to listen, it is where our heart or intuition leads us and it has the capacity to change our life. Many take the easy way - a few follow their dreams and face their challenges. Embedded in this painting is the line from Robert Frost's poem - "Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less travelled by, And that has made all the difference" Sometimes one takes a journey that is chosen for them or thrust upon them. How one faces these challenges can "make all the difference."
